Salary:

• Helpers - $14.50 per hour
  • Positions available: Custodial Helpers (20); Grounds Helpers (8); Maintenance Helpers (4); Painter Helpers (12)

• Supervisors - $15.75 per hour
  • Positions available: Grounds Supervisor (1); Painter Supervisor (1)

Hours: Summer position only

• 10 hours / day (30 minute lunch) 6:00am to 4:00pm
• 4 days per week, Monday - Thursday
• Work weeks: 11 weeks starting 05/28/2024

Description:

• Assist staff with summer projects
• Good communication skills

• Ability to complete assigned tasks successfully and efficiently
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions?

Working Conditions:

• Position requires the following physical demands: lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Generally the job requires 5% sitting, 70% walking, and 25% standing.
  • Maintenance - working with hand tools
  • Grounds - working outside
  • Custodial - moving furniture and using cleaning chemicals
  • Painters - using various painting products

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma OR Equivalent OR currently high school junior or senior student
• Valid Illinois Drivers License
