Description

Job Title: Automotive Technician

Our busy auto repair shop is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician with a State Inspection License to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and SUVs. You will also be responsible for performing state vehicle inspections in compliance with all state and federal regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of vehicles

- Perform routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements

- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations

- Use diagnostic equipment to accurately diagnose vehicle issues

- Perform state vehicle inspections in compliance with all regulations

- Keep accurate records of all repairs and services performed

- Keep work area clean and organized

- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Requirements:

- State Inspection License

- High school diploma or equivalent

- At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Technician

- Strong mechanical and electrical skills

- Ability to use diagnostic equipment

- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
