**Description**
Commercial Warehousing, Inc. is looking for an experienced Inventory Control Clerk to join our growing team. The ideal individual will be self-motivating, with the ability to work independently, and must takes pride in their work. They must also be very detailed, organized and accurate.
The working environment will be in multiple warehouses that has temperature ranges from Ambient to -10*F.
Responsibilities
Compile data from sources such as contracts, purchase orders, invoices, requisitions, and accounting reports and writes, types, or enters information into computer to maintain inventory, purchasing, shipping, or other records.
Coordinates and researches product missing or placed in incorrect location.
Compiles stock control records and information such as consumption rate, characteristics of items in storage, and current market conditions, to determine stock supply and need for replenishment.
Directs and coordinates all physical inventories.
Audits and monitors all cycle counts.
Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess or damaged stock.
Works with customers on inventory needs, recalls, and issues.
Review warehouse storage practices to assure proper racking, quality of pallets being used, and damaged cases in stock.
Randomly inspect trailers to ensure sanitation specifications are being met and loading procedures are being followed.
Audit the warehouses for GMP and SOP compliance.
Confirm proper temperature is being maintained at each facility.
Establish and maintain a HOLD area at each facility.
Assist with inspections performed by customers, food safety inspectors and/or regulatory agencies.
Oversee all special projects. Determine the amount of labor and supplies necessary to perform such projects.
Other duties may be assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience/Skills
HS Diploma or GED required. Associates Degree preferred.
1 to 3 years of related experience in a Warehouse/Distribution Center; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic proficiency of MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Familiarity with WMS systems, Accellos preferred.
Proven ability to use basic mathematical skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.
Ability to effectively communicate both verbal and written to all levels of Operational Team.
