CNC Machinist Slaughter, LA
EVALUATION HIRE
$33+ / hr.
Day Shift 7 am 3:30 pm Mon-Thursday, 6 am - 2:30 pm Fridays
Express Employment Professionals, a full-service staffing agency, is currently hiring for a CNC Machinist with Operating and Programming Experience. In this role you will play a key role in our manufacturing process, utilizing your expertise in both CNC machine operation and programming. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce high-quality components with efficiency.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES for CNC MACHINIST:
- Set up and operate a variety of CNC machines to produce precision parts according to specifications
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate production
- Program CNC machines using MAZATROL Programming Language
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet specified tolerances and quality standards
- Make adjustments to CNC machines as necessary to maintain optimal performance
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with a focus on both operation and programming
- Proficiency in programming CNC machines using MAZATROL Programming Language
- Strong understanding of machining processes and techniques
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of tooling selection, cutting speeds, and feeds
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
- Certificate or degree in CNC machining or a related field is a plus
- Experience in Doosan and Haas machines is a PLUS
