This position is responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with various teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities:

Project Scheduling: Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) to outline the sequence of activities, timelines, and milestones for commercial construction projects.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, construction teams, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the project schedule aligns with the project's goals and objectives.

Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently, equipment, and materials, to match project requirements and ensure optimal productivity.

Critical Path Analysis: Identify and monitor the critical path in the project schedule, highlighting activities that could potentially delay the project and recommending necessary adjustments.

Progress Tracking: Continuously monitor project progress, collect data, and update schedules as needed to reflect any changes or delays in the project's timeline.

Risk Management: Anticipate potential scheduling conflicts, obstacles, and risks, and work with project teams to develop mitigation plans to keep the project on track.

Communication: Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders to provide regular updates on project schedules, identify issues, and propose solutions to keep the project on schedule.

Documentation: Keep detailed records of all schedule changes, delay notifications, and project updates for reference and reporting purposes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Relevant experience in commercial construction project scheduling is typically required, with an understanding of construction techniques, methodologies, and terminology.

Proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
