Job Summary:
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will play a huge role in the welcoming experience of our guests by providing general maintenance and repairs at the property.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Foster an environment that embodies Bally's Born to Entertain philosophy by creating a fun-filled, entertaining atmosphere
- Enthusiastically promote Bally's customer-centric culture of offering superior guest service and actively building long-lasting guest relations
- Adhere to policies and procedures in accordance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, internal controls, Company policies and procedures, and organizational goals
- Assist with training and developing team members
- Respond to maintenance calls and provide general maintenance including, but not limited to, changing lightbulbs, HVAC needs, painting, removing snow, gardening, and cleaning
- Conduct inspections of public areas daily, conducts and documents preventative maintenance initiatives regularly
- Keep all mechanical areas in a neat, orderly working condition
- Evaluate and prioritize maintenance requests as needed
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and in accordance with manufacturer instructions, including using personal protective equipment when required
- Make suggestions for improvements in overall operations with an emphasis on increasing guest satisfaction and reducing costs
- Coordinate maintenance and repair needs with other departments as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
- High school or equivalent is required
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be reliable
- Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weeknights, weekends, and holiday
- *Experience in HVAC, Electrical, and Carpentry a plus.
Physical Demands:- Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged periods of time
- Occasionally required to work at heights above 10 feet high
- Frequently required to lift items up to 30 pounds
- Occasionally required to push or move items up to 100 pounds
- Frequently required to reach overhead
- Occasionally required to work in confined, small areas for long periods of time
Work Environment:You may be exposed to bright lights, loud noise, and stressful situations in this position.
