Job Details
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Technician will perform skilled mechanical maintenance duties in the installation, inspection and repair of concrete, heating, lighting, ventilation, air conditioning, compressed air and water systems and related equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine servicing of equipment including oversite for subcontracted services.
- Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks and assist contractors in response to related to service calls and disaster recovery due to inclement weather- wind, rain, hurricane and external source damages, etc.
- Conduct site facility inspections related to custodial and grounds operations compliance such as site drainage, , facility building damages, grounds landscaping and fence security.
- Respond timely and prioritize facility requests for approved repairs or maintenance
- Assist with planning and establish work schedules and production sequences to maximize productivity
- Organizes workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
- Tracks work assignment and sends daily activity reports to supervisor and or designee
- Advocates, models, and inspects for safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal safety statues and environmental requirements

- Prepared to respond and overnight travel to meet work assignment
- Uses their own specialize tools if available

Education, Skills and Requirements:- Skilled trade or Associate degree preferred
- 5-10 years of experience in facility maintenance and/or similar construction industry preferred.
- High level of motivation, dedication to a culture of collaboration
- Comfortable performing in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects
