Preschool Teacher
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Lead Teacher to join our team at Kids Garden in Summerville. As the Lead Teacher, you will be responsible for working with students of various ages and skill levels. This is a part-time position that offers an exciting opportunity to inspire and nurture creativity in young minds in a fun, fast pace setting.
Responsibilities:
- Teach curriculum and lesson plans to preschooler that are already created by our team.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and their parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to coordinate and plan fun activities, bring excitement into the center each week.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, evaluations, and assessments.
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, upcoming events, and other relevant information.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Qualifications:
- At least a HS diploma / GED
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a licensed child care center
- Demonstrated ability to engage and inspire students of different ages and backgrounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for nurturing artistic talent.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
