Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Allied Resources is partnered with an established Chemical Manufacturing company that is seeking an E&I Engineer to provide technical support for Reliability and Maintenance projects in a Chemical plant-based environment! We are looking for someone who has strong E&I knowledge and is able to assist E&I Technicians through problems on electrical equipment up to 13.8kV.


Responsibilities

  • Provide support to reliability & maintenance projects by applying Reliability Engineering principles, statistical data analysis, and supporting work process.
  • Evaluate recurring electrical and controls failures to determine root cause & corrective action.
  • Oversee preventative & predictive maintenance program for electrical equipment and control systems.
  • Identify & utilize preferred equipment manufacturers, specialists, and consultants for projects.
  • Develop & implement Reliability and Maintenance procedures pertaining to Electrical Equipment.


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience performing E&I support for reliability projects in a Chemical Manufacturing (or related) environment.
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and ISA standards
  • Familiarity with Fault Current, Coordination, and Arc Flash Studies.
