The Industrial Maintenance Technician would be responsible for the maintenance and repair of industrial plastic processing machinery consisting of: Mechanical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Electrical Systems.
What you will do:
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial systems Including:
- Mechanical Drive Systems: Gearboxes, Belts, Pulleys, Shafts, Bearings and Conveyors
- Hydraulic Systems: Pumps, Hoses, Cylinders, Valves, and Fittings
- Electrical Systems: High/low voltage distribution, Control Circuits, Data/Signal
- Maintain equipment and repair/replace/order defective parts when needed
- Operate machine/equipment for testing, diagnosis and preventive maintenance
- Adjustment and calibration of machine/equipment
- Read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematic
What you will need:
- Proven experience and ability in mechanical, electrical and electronic troubleshooting and maintenance techniques
- Must have the ability to demonstrate working knowledge of mechanical/electrical principles and concepts
- Be able to work with each department to provide support to ensure day-to-day maintenance issues are resolved
- Work in a factory environment and have a passion for maintaining a safe workplace
