* Regularly assess supply/demand requirements to ensure balance is maintained and make order adjustments as appropriate.
* Strategically coordinate supply dates to support corresponding demand dates.
* Ensure quarter boundary expense/ sales order chargeback synchronization.
* Collaborate with suppliers to request quotes, confirm order acknowledgments, lead schedules, and expedites as required
* Align AMD Global Supply Management Lead Source Managers with quote requests to ensure driven pricing and schedule optimization.
* Compile and submit expense justifications required for requisition pre-approvals
* Submit purchase order requisitions to fund hardware P.O.s.
* Build and lead purchase orders in AMDs MRP system.
* Communicate purchase order status to management internal customers
* Resolve SAP PO Goods Receipt issues in a timely manner.
* Support other logistics efforts (receiving; order fulfillment; warehouse inventory movements; other) as needed.
* Heavy purchasing experience
* Experience with warehousing and logistics (shipping/receiving/order fulfillment)
* Familiarity with computer system parts
* Experience with part data management (PDM) and material requirement planning (MRP) systems
* Supplier management experience
* Strong communications skills
* Strong multi-tasking ability
* Detail oriented
* Strong adaptability to multifaceted situations & changes tolerant
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* Schedule driven
* Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
* Team oriented
