Mechanic Helper
The Mechanic Laborer will support our customer an Elevator Servicing company. The work will be in several buildings in Downtown Austin. As a mechanical laborer you will work under a Sr. Mechanic and will assist in the upgrade and installation of elevator equipment.
LOCATION: Downtown Austin, TX 78701
PAY: $21.00 hour
START DATE: April 15 th
DURATION: Project will last from Mid-April to January 25
Responsibilities:
- Assist Sr. Mechanic in upgrading elevator equipment.
- Move tools from truck to worksite daily
- Keeping area clean
- Load and Unloading Equipment
- Breakdown and repair of mechanical parts using hand tools
- Reviewing Blueprints for Installation/Troubleshooting
Requirements - Mechanic or general mechanic knowledge is all that is needed.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Steel or Composite toe work boots or shoes
- Clean background to pass our background check
