Associate Financial Advisor

Primary Purpose:

This Associate Financial Advisor position will support Wealth Management Investment teams in client

acquisitions, retention, service, and sales. They will help coach bank branch personnel in identifying good referral prospects, train licensed bank employees to offer annuities; and provide whatever support

is needed for the team's existing client base.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Work with the Sr Financial Advisor in the territory to assist with client acquisition and retention

* Become fluent with internal and external systems, products, processes, compliance, and bank organizational structure. Become familiar with existing clients, bank associates, and communities within the market

* Assist Financial Advisor in growing the current client base during the transition period

* Work to build a new client base as well as partner with the Sr. Financial Advisor on joint business.

* Conduct branch referral training

* Become fluent in all regulatory and compliance requirements

* Prepare new account and account maintenance documentation

* Prepare client investment proposals and annual reviews

* Have the ability to discuss product specifics and comparisons, including cost/benefit analysis

Job Specifications:

* FINRA Series 7 & 66, or willingness to obtain within 18 months of hire

* State Insurance license: life and health within 18 months of hire Strong sales skills and a good understanding of overall bank products and operations

* Exceptional social and communication skills necessary to assist clients

* Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

* Bachelor's Degree, or four years of investment product sales experience
