Summary:Reporting to the Door Line Supervisor, the Manufacturing Production Welder will be primarily responsible for welding and assembling metal pieces and products by using handheld welding equipment. Sets up parts for welding; uses hand tools, clamps, jigs, and fixtures. Works from specifications, drawings, and weld symbols. Prepares and completes work on materials by welding, cutting, grinding, and cleaning metal. Work requires the ability to walk the production floor and other areas of the manufacturing facility and stand for up to 10 hrs per day. Frequent lifting, twisting, and bending are requirements of this position. Repetitive movement will be required at times. Position requires good physical fitness and an understanding of appropriate lifting techniques and tool safety. May need to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. Excellent vision skills (with or without correction) are required.
