We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support-Field Technician to join our team. This role will primarily focus on providing on-site support for hardware-related issues and deployments across designated regions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in hardware troubleshooting, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to travel extensively.
Responsibilities:
- Travel to automotive repair shops to perform hardware installations, repairs, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware-related issues on desktops, laptops, printers, networking equipment, and other peripherals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate hardware deployments and ensure timely resolution of technical problems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users on hardware-related inquiries.
- Document all activities, including troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and hardware inventory updates.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar role, with a focus on hardware support.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components, peripherals, and networking equipment.
- Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting and repair techniques.
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and software applications.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field service environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 90% of the time) within the designated region.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
