**Branch Manager, Northeast Credit Union, Biddeford, ME**

We are seeking a Branch Manager for our Biddeford, ME Branch.

**RESPONSIBILITIES:**

Create a branch team to enhance and support the Credit Union as a sales organization. Enhance the reputation of the Credit Union by creating long-term, positive relationships with members. The branch manager ensures the branch meets organizational, financial, operation, service and growth plans. Responsible for leading a team of sales and service professionals to meet and exceed sales goals and service targets.

Adhere to and uphold Northeast Credit Union's Values and Service Standards.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

Work involves extensive communication including, but not limited to, verbal, written and electronic, interaction, and collaboration with people on a daily basis in order to provide exemplary service.

Direct daily operations of the branch which includes supervising branch staff, working with members and building relationships as well as meeting branch deposit, loan, mortgage and service goals.

Maintain a highly motivated and well trained staff. This includes the hiring process, training, scheduling, performing effective evaluations and coaching to meet individual sales and service goals. Will be the Subject Matter Expert as it relates to mortgages in the branch.

Generate sales leads through community outreach activities and developing business partners all while building internal relationships. Represent the branch as appropriate in its relationship with members and sponsor organizations.

Apply and evaluate policies and procedures for the branch. Work with the other department managers to ensure compliance with internal controls and accuracy.

Perform other job related duties as assigned.

**REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS NEEDED:**

Experience

At least five years of branch management experience or similar related experience.

Two to three years of experience originating mortgage loans

Experience in participating in community involvement activities

Education

Equivalent to a college degree (BS or BA in a relevant field).

Interpersonal Skills

A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others.

Other Skills

Proficient communication skills (ie: verbal and written)

Must have in depth understanding of ability to interpret and keep up to date with applicable laws and regulations surrounding area of responsibility.

Working knowledge of all Microsoft products

Must have ability to use computer, CDM, scanners, printers and associated hardware.

Must have ability to us Copier, fax and other standard office equipment, telephone, teller mate and drive up canisters.

The employee is frequently required to stand; move; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a calculator, copy/fax machine, and computer printer; reach with hands and arms; and lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally move up to 30 pounds with assistance.

The employee is required to observe the lobby for activities that impact the security of the Credit Union, its members, and employees. Occasional travel will be required for ongoing training, meetings and/or to provide branch support
