Our client, a growing auto parts distributor in the northern suburbs of Chicago, is looking to hire a Procurement Analyst. In this role, you'll embark on an exciting journey, aiding our client's expansion of their iconic brands worldwide. As the Procurement Analyst, you'll play a pivotal role, collaborating closely with various business departments, steering the course of product costing and forecasting with precision and innovation.
Procurement Analyst Responsibilities:
- Support procurement of services, supplier performance and associated contracts
- Analyze and identify cost saving initiatives and analyze cost reduction goals
- Analyze current data and export into Excel
- Establish proven relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Evaluate and analyze new vendors as well as qualify suppliers' performance and spend
Procurement Analyst Requirements:
- BA degree in Supply Chain Management or other related fields is preferred
- 2+ years of procurement experience
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, specifically in a supply chain management environment
- Strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively as part of a team on multiple projects
