**Description**
Warehouse Leads are responsible for ensuring that workers perform work duties safely and efficiently. Warehouse Leads are hands-on leaders who will assist other employees in daily warehouse/shipping operations.
**Responsibilities:**
* Receive and inventory incoming and outgoing freight.
* Manage the flow of freight.
* Quality Control: Be involved in receiving inspections and final inspections.
* Implement work instructions for all tasks.
* Understand and manage storage and inventory.
* Integrate coaching into warehouse operations.
* Immediately address non-conformance to safety issues.
* Ensure an environment where unsafe acts and conditions are identified and eliminated.
* Provide daily hands-on support for the department.
* Drive compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives.
**Requirements:**
* Conducts on-the-job training for employees.
* Ensures Company is compliant with all federal and state laws as it relates to safety.
* Must possess exceptional problem solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve project issues and challenges.
* Strong attention to detail and deadline orientation.
* Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
* Must be responsible and work with little to no supervision.
* Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
