Summary:
Schedule:
Approximately 8 hours per week (1 shift per week).
Evening shift (3:00-11:30pm), no weekends, no holidays.

The Environmental Services Clinic position is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the facility. The requirements of this position involve sanitizing and disinfecting all areas within the clinic building and is the main defense to prevent the spread of infections.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Cleans and disinfects non-patient care areas, i.e. offices, lobby areas, lounges, bathrooms and locker rooms.
  • Interacts with patients, visitors, and associates in a friendly and efficient manner to meet customer needs.
  • Maintains a high quality of infection control. Ensures all areas of the "key touch" surfaces in all patient care rooms are kept up to standards.
  • Transports, monitors and contains waste according to standard operating procedure.
  • Communicates with the Lead in charge to ensure cleaning priorities are met.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of the department/organization.
Certification:
  • Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Technician (CHEST) | Association for Healthcare (AHE) | Preferred | Employee Provides HR a Copy
