DIR of Billing - ON SITE


Job Details

**LOCATION: MUST WORK IN East Haven, CT office for 5 days a week during training period and then for 3 days of week hybrid at minimum thereafter.**


CPa medical Billing, a GeBBS Healthcare Company, is on the search for a qualified Director of RCM Billing that will provide leadership to the Account Managers for the day-to-day running and continuous improvement within areas of responsibility and is a leader and critical thinker, ready to solve problems before they become obstacles. The Director of RCM Billing analyzes, provides specifications for, and writes individual reports for access and revenue cycle applications. Serves as a reporting resource. Other responsibilities will include special projects.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting in developing and implementing plans and goals for GeBBs/CPa
  • Create and monitor billing analysis dashboards for each department
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies
  • Support administration of client payor portals for GeBBs/CPa staff
  • Analyze billing operations and provide feedback as needed
  • Manage the Employee training program
  • Run Compliance Program in a lead capacity
  • Fulfill duties as assigned.


ADDITIONAL GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

The Billing Director must support the VP, RCM in departmental planning and monitoring progress. This position will also be working to enhance productivity and ensure compliance with Billing rules and regulations. The goal is to help the department attain objectives of productivity and employee satisfaction.


JOB QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • Prior proven experience in a RCM Director Position or other similar position
  • Experience in performance and billing operations management
  • Experience in Medical Billing. (5+ years in Hospital, Out Patient or FQHC billing)
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and quality standards
  • Report writing experience, including extensive Excel knowledge
  • Outstanding communication and public speaking skills
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving


EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Business, clinical-related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+years experience in the healthcare field with business systems reports writing experience including designing, creating, validating, implementing, and supporting the organization s business and revenue cycle reporting needs.
  • Experience with Windows applications, proficient use of a computer, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Expert in Excel, including graphing, pivot tables, and form building.
  • Knowledge of CPS/Centricity, Epic, OCHIN, NextGen, ECW a Plus.
  • Strong communication, verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analysis, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
