Role Purpose: A Car Wash Porter is responsible to clean vehicles according to Optima Dealer Services Standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Wash and clean all vehicles in compliance will all Company Standards and client's request.
- Washing Process includes Exterior Wash and Exterior drying, Interior and exterior windows cleaning, interior vacuum, wipe down dashboards and cup holders and tire shining application.
- Moving, parking vehicles and delivering vehicles to the correct location
- Washing process include outside wash, outside drying, windows cleaning inside and out, interior vacuum, dashboard and cup holders wipe down, tire shining application.
- Always double-check your work after finished to ensure the vehicle is clean.
- All Vehicles must pass Quality Control. If the vehicle is not properly washed or Clean, please inform Car Wash Manager Immediately to have it redone up to Optima Dealer Services Standards.
- When available, help keep our Dealership Clean.
- Proper handle products and wash towels.
- Always follow safety procedures, such as wearing non-slip shoes, Goggles (Clear Glasses), proper handle of chemicals and wear gloves and be aware of Potential Hazards.
- Inform Management when your daily Task is completed, and all the Cars are washed at the end your shift.
Requirements
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Excellent manual dexterity skills as well as and an eye for detail and cleanliness.
- High energy level
- Valid California driver's license and a good driving record (no points on record).
WORKING CONDITIONS: Positions usually works a 40-hour, five-day week with occasional overtime required and a rotational Saturday shift.
Not all positions are full-time positions, schedules will be coordinated by the responsible manager.
May be required to lift parts and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds several times during each shift. They will also stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, handle and feel. They will use common hand-held cleaning tools and power washing nozzle gun.
