Location: Avon, CO, US
* Assume duties all managerial duties in Managers absence
* Daily and weekly meetings with staff
* Be able to perform all aspects of the DC operations including receiving, data entry, order processing, picking, auditing, shipping, delivery, replenishment and merchandise return
* Efficiently maintain product flow through the warehouse and processing accuracy
* Researching and resolving warehouse-to-store issues
* Effective performance evaluations for staff at annual intervals
* Overall organization and maintenance of the facility
* Accountability for all staff members (attendance, punctuality, productivity, accuracy, safety)
* Manage delivery vehicle fleet (maintenance and upkeep)
* Ensure safety and security of facility to include warehouse operations and delivery operations, eliminating the temptation of theft
* Payroll management in the facility
* Maintain good relationships with internal warehouse staff, store management and personnel, and corporate office personnel
* Innovative rewards and accountability tools must be developed, maintained, and updated to keep facility staff motivated and challenged.
* Develop hourly staff members to take on more responsibility, encourage growth within the company, and increase employee retention.
* Effectively maintain seasonal and temporary help, as needed
* Prioritize and coordinate multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, customer-service environment
* Other duties as assigned
* 1 year supervisory experience
* Able to work a flexible schedule - Distribution Center days and hours vary depending upon season and volume.
* Able to operate a forklift Training will be provided
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Proficient in MS Office
* English fluency
* Able to drive 16' box truck - Training will be provided
* Must possess a valid US Driver's licens e
* 2 years of retail and ski/snowboard rental experience
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience with JDA MMS or other AS/400 based inventory management software
* Order processing/picking experience
* Experience with using RF scanners or similar devices
