**Sales Representative**

DuBois Chemicals is looking to hire a high-performance sales professional to assume a sales territory with excellent upside growth potential. Responsible to grow the companys presence, customer relationships, and sales in the Indiana and Ohio marketplace. Manage an existing account base and grow sales in other value-added manufactured products in the companys product offering including metal working fluids and surface treatment markets. Maintenance of customer accounts once established is equally as important as efforts to generate new business. Responsible for communicating customer needs and requirements to all functional areas of the company to ensure that efforts are coordinated resulting in rapid organic sales growth. Demonstrate the companys core competencies of communication, customer focus, innovation, integrity & ethics, lean & safety, and passion to succeed.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:**
* Manage and maintain programs at established customer sites
* Manage an existing account base and grow sales in other value-added manufactured products in the companys product offerings
* Perform analysis of customer process tanks using various wet analytical methods, including wet titrations and hull cell analysis
* Have a strong understanding of electroplating chemistry as well as the pre and post treatment processes that will allow troubleshooting non-conformances in chemical processes in customer facilities
* Communicate effectively with all levels of customers
* Understand and explain chemical processes to both technical and non technical customers
* Profitably grow a sales territory as well as develop and maintain strong customer relationships
* Aggressive customer focus with a strong sales mentality and willingness to learn and grow
* Possess strong work ethic
* Build robust sales pipeline that supports expected profitable growth
* Effectively work collaboratively with team members as well as other functional support employees
* Demonstrate a strong technical aptitude, intellectual curiosity including understanding of basic surface finishing chemical processes
* Willingness to obtain and maintain technical certifications
* Comfortable making numerous cold calls
* Maintain constant focus on working and driving in a safe manner
* Travel to current and prospective customers to maintain and develop relationships and grow sales, including occasional overnight travel
* Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
**MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:**
* 2+ years of industrial sales success, preferably in chemicals sales
* Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Business field preferred
* Proven effectives in prospecting , closing new projects, and delivering effective presentations
* Demonstrated ability to build and manage long-term customer relationships
* High achievement orientation; driven to perform and grow
* Strong consultation, negotiation, problem-resolution and interpersonal skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to understand new product lines and utilize knowledge to fulfill customer needs
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Professionally developed sales and territory management skills
* Ability to travel up to 25% including overnight travel
* Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record
* Ability to perform technical/mechanical on-site testing
