Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Maintenance Teams perform repairs and preventive maintenance to ensure longer lifespan of machines and facilities. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

Senior Maintenance Mechanic responsibilities:

Lead and perform electronic, electrical and mechanical repair, installation, troubleshooting and modifications to facilities and production machinery and subsystems
Perform advanced level electrical troubleshooting, repair, adjustment and verification; provide PLC, PC computer and software support
Review MTBF, MTTR, OEE and PM performance, and create action plans to improve those metrics
Assist in the control and maintenance of the spare parts inventory. Requires locating and ordering of parts and supplies for various production machines and maintaining the records for these parts
Emergency repair response to equipment breakdowns; perform work from directions in the form of verbal instruction, blueprints or sketches with no supervision and create all required documentation
Document all actions taken and recommend permanent corrective maintenance solutions
Recommend and implement solutions for ongoing machine problems; review and update of equipment Preventive Maintenance processes and content
Direct and delegate tasks as necessary through project management best practices
On-time completion of assigned Preventive Maintenance Inspections

Monday to Friday 7 am to 3:30 pm - flexible schedule.

What your background should look like:

HS Diploma or GED required.
Five or more years of electronic/electrical/mechanical/PLC design, modification, troubleshooting and repair on facilities and production equipment is helpful
Ability to develop and document maintenance procedures for production machinery
Strong electromechanical, problem solving and customer service skills
Strong leadership/organizational skills, excellent communication skills and attention to detail are desired; self-motivation and the ability to sustain high performance standards in unstructured/unsupervised situations are also required
Working in moderately complex assignments requiring considerable technical expertise and can make sound recommendations on course through problems
Experience in PLC hardware/software repair, installation, modification and troubleshooting; PC computer hardware and software systems support for production processes is desired
Experienced using a PC based system in a network environment. Working knowledge of Windows OS, Word and Excel.
Experience in usage of both mechanical and electronic CAD software; creating, editing and viewing drawings/schematics is ideal
Experience with TPM is a plus

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $74,560 - $111,840 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
