The Test & Balance Services Estimator supports the growth of the Test & Balance Services of the Company.
Responsibilities and Duties
Job responsibilities will include the following:
Pursuing bid opportunities for a professional HVAC testing and balancing contractor
Reviewing detailed HVAC plans and specifications and preparing bids for HVAC testing and balancing
Reviewing client bid lists/ftp sites, create bid lists and bid files, track addendums & RFI s
Preparing and sending proposals to multiple clients in a time-critical environment
Following up with clients for current project documents and equipment submittals for awarded projects
Creating job folders with all relevant project information for field technician use
Required Qualifications
5+ years HVAC estimating, drafting, and/or project management experience
Must be able to read HVAC plans and specifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Bluebeam experience a plus.
Strong time management and organizational skills along with the ability to multitask.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to follow instructions, desire to learn
