* Reports to General Manager
* Manage all aspects of the F&B department, including breakfast, dinner, and banquets
* Assure that top quality service is extended to guests per hotel brand, state, and management company/ownership guidelines
* Greet and assist guests in a professional, efficient, and empathetic manner, using guests names as much as possible
* Assure that adequate supplies based on budgeted and forecasted amounts are on hand at all times
* Resolve minor guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer

* Assure that guests and co-workers are in a safe environment at all times
* Assist guests and employees in emergency situations
* Report lost and found articles
* Ensure that work areas are cleaned, organized and complete at the end of each shift
* Assist employees with overflow help
* Review in-house and projected guest numbers and prepare food as needed
* Develop weekly and monthly schedules for F&B staff
* Assure that all work shifts are properly staffed at all times
* Assure that all F&B staff positions are properly trained and suited for the positions in which they hold
* Maintain a high caliber of F&B staff personnel through routine evaluations of existing staff, re-positioning or termination of staff, and the hiring and full training of new staff. All must be approved in advance by General Manager
* Process staff vacation/time-off requests
* Assure that all staff files are updated on a regular basis to include address and pay changes, documentations, etc.
* Schedule regular training meetings with staff to assure that all staff are following proper procedures and guidelines
* Be constantly updated on current trends in the market and at the hotel level through communications with General Manager, Sales Director, and Front Office Manager
* Assure that communications between staff remain positive and accessible
* Be available at all times to receive calls and provide assistance to staff and management unless approved otherwise in advance by General Manager
* Assist in staff development in regard to sales, customer service, and F&B techniques
* Maintain highly productive, cooperative and positive staff morale through the use of incentive programs, rewards, and regular personal feedback
* Assure that guest special requests and amenities are addressed in timely and efficient manner, including lost and found, anniversaries, special events, etc
* Be a liaison between hotel and account holders and provide a positive and professional relationship between them
* Process Accounts Payable Invoices daily
* Assure that monthly applicable departmental inventory is completed on the first day of the following month
* Attend periodic staff meetings to discuss company policies and guest concerns, and make recommendations to improve service and ensure efficient operation
* Perform other duties as assigned by Management
* Assure that lobby and kitchen areas remain clean, safe, and orderly at all times
* Immediately and properly report problems to appropriate departments
* Possess valid State Beverage Control Serving Certificate
* Accurately record alcoholic beverage inventories and servings as required by State Beverage Control regulations
* Maintains proper inventory and accounting for Premium Room F&B amenities
* Review shift checklist to assure all tasks have been processed correctly
