What you'll do:

As a Title Service Representative, you're the face of our office in the community, meeting with real estate agents and others to promote our title and closing services and earn their business. You connect agents with escrow officers by getting to know them and their personalities, connecting those who will work well together. You educate agents by sharing your expert knowledge of the latest industry and local developments. You sell our services by gaining their trust to build enduring relationships that go beyond business. And you get to have fun, entertaining clients to cement friendships on a business and personal level.

Your responsibilities:

* Identifying and meeting with the area's real estate agents and lenders to pursue and cultivate relationships that enable you to sell our title and closing services.

* Closing the loop with potential clients by responding to open questions and obtaining information that will persuade them to use our services.

* Trusted consultant, maintaining a positive, can-do attitude that gives agents and homebuyers alike the confidence that their transaction is in reliable, good hands and will be completed on time.

* Devoted to detail: Verifying all paperwork is complete so that escrow closes on time and correctly.

* Sealing the deal: Conducting a closing and making it a positive, memorable experience for agents and buyers. Ensure that all paperwork is signed correctly.

* Problem solver, using your industry knowledge to identify potential issues; recognizing what's wrong, knowing how to fix it and avoiding unnecessary delays.

* Constant learner, staying on top of changing rules and regulations to avoid setbacks and enable transactions to close on time.

* People reader, recognizing and adapting to an agent's or homebuyer's personality and mood to make them feel comfortable, even when delivering bad news; showing empathy to ease their frustration and give them confidence that you're in their corner.

* Multi-tasker, highly organized, being able to work a large number of contracts with numerous agents, buyers and sellers simultaneously under deadline pressure

* Excellent communicator, comfortable, confident and convincing, whether meeting with individuals or speaking to a group. Ability to read people and understand their personality in order to create lasting relationships with agents.

Qualifications:

* Education - A High School Diploma or equivalency is required.

* License of Certification - Notary public is required.

* Work Experience - This position prefers 3-5 years of related (lender/real estate) experience. 1-2 years of title or related business experience is preferred.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

What we'd like you to have, but not required:

* Two to three years' escrow, title, or real estate experience.

* Experience using a CRM tool

* Bilingual

* Notary license
