The mission of the Automotive Billing Clerk is to accurately record the sale, profit and commissions payable on all sold units, and to maintain accurate accounting of vehicle inventories.
Essential Functions:
- Reviews incoming deals for completeness/accuracy of paperwork
- Verifies document compliance, including new FTC guidelines
- Follows-up on corrections needed for non-compliance and/or deal completion
- Daily and weekly schedule cleaning
- Daily and weekly tracking of deal status
- Prepares loan payoffs on trade-in vehicles
- Posts new and used deals to accounting general ledger on a timely basis
- Reviews Lienholder funding and OSF accuracy and aging
- Assist with cancellations
- Finance product submission via electronic dashboard
- Validates and Submits VIT by monthly due date
- Month-End Close deal postings and schedules within two business days
- File documents as needed
- Provide administrative support to management, other departments and employees

Minimum Qualifications/Skills:- Understand deadlines and be able to apply the appropriate sense of urgency to all tasks
- Strong computer & phone skills (Internet, MS Outlook)
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- Standard knowledge of office equipment such as computers, phones, printers
- Self-motivated, goal oriented, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
- Working conditions are primarily inside an office environment. Some aspects of job can include light lifting, bending, stooping, reaching, walking and kneeling.
