Job Description
We are currently seeking a Customer Service Representative to work in our Woodridge, Illinois office.
This position is to provide customer and sales support functions for our rapidly growing North American lab water business while following standards, policies and procedures for our organization.
Duties of this position include (but are not limited to):
* Answers incoming calls and emails regarding purchase orders, billing / payment, pricing, product availability, and other general inquiries from customers, sales representatives and technicians.
* Uses CRM database to process sales orders, send order confirmations, update orders for billing.
* Matches up and files paperwork.
* Works within distributor online portals to retrieve purchase orders and update shipping information.
* Assists with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests.
* Assists with processing payments; such as customer credit cards.
* Inside sales support, including proactively calling customers and sales quote support.
* Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism while working to establish a positive rapport with customers, sales representatives, technicians and office colleagues.
* Supports other department requirements for customer care related support.
* Supports additional projects brought forth by management.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of experience in customer support role.
* Excellent computer skills, primarily with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive.
* The ability to work in a team environment; a friendly and cooperative/positive attitude is required.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Uses patience and courtesy while resolving customer complaints and conflict.
* Respects and follows all standard operating procedures.
* Prominent organizational skills and excellent time management skills.
* The ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to details.
* Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
* Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
* Must be honest, assertive and systematic.
* Experience working for an ISO certified company is a plus.
* Minimal travel may be required.
