**Summary**
Under the close direction of a supervisor, the **Level I Inspector** is responsible for performing and documenting the results of inspections or tests that are required to be performed in accordance with documented procedures, acceptance standards, and/or industry practices as defined by contract documents.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
The **Level I Inspector** will possess competency in the following areas in order to perform his/her role in a safe, productive, and effective manner. + Assists with Implementation of Inspection Plans
+ Ensures a Safe Work Environment
+ Participates in Training/Certifications
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor's Degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction related discipline from an accredited college or university; or High School Diploma and 4 years related experience.
+ Knowledge of construction practices (i.e., formwork, rebar, concrete placing, etc.)
+ Ability to locate, read and interpret applicable quality codes and standards.
