Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff- Support patients with behavioral health needs in a compassionate and understanding manner- Provide care for pediatric patients and experience working with children is preferred- Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment and supplies- Familiarity with durable medical equipment (DME) and its proper use- Provide care for patients with special needs, ensuring their comfort and safety- Document patient information accurately and efficiently using electronic health record systems such as eClinicalWorks or CernerRequirements:- High school diploma or equivalent- Successful completion of a nursing assistant training program and current certification- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment- Compassionate and empathetic nature towards patients of all ages and backgrounds- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced healthcare setting- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare procedures- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient informationNote: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
