We're searching for a detail-oriented mortgage loan officer assistant. This position will play a vital part in communicating with referral partners, current and past clients, real estate agents, lenders, and underwriters to nurture relationships and develop new business. You will facilitate the completion of real estate loan applications, collect, analyze, and review supporting loan documentation in accordance with loan guidelines, and provide support throughout the loan application process. Responsibilities

Work in synergy with our ISAs and real estate agents, educating them on available loan programs.
Deliver swift, competent responses to our in-house Realtor and builder referrals.
Follow up promptly on inbound leads and collaborate with our ISAs and agents on each lead.
Make full use of our company-provided CRM system, ensuring it remains updated.
Engage with applicants promptly, providing insightful, consultative mortgage options.
Review rates, costs, and program options and keep all stakeholders informed of transaction status.
Handle all customer and in-house inquiries about transactions so the process is smooth and customers receive excellent service
Assemble loan documentation as required necessary for verifications and underwriting such as loan files, loan packages, credit reports, and additional mortgage application paperwork
Screen and make calls, book appointments and provide administrative support as needed
Be the primary liaison between the mortgage loan officer and our clients and schedule meetings to discuss outstanding items
Review all loan package documentation for discrepancies, omissions, and income calculation then report any discrepancies to the loan originator

Qualifications

NMLS #, Licensed loan officer.
Proven history of originating purchase loans.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a licensed mortgage originator.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to use video conferencing daily.
A college degree is strongly preferred.
Proficient technical skills (Microsoft or Google Suite, experience using a CRM to manage leads, etc.)
Excellent customer service and communication skills and willing to go above and beyond for customers and team
Preferably 2-3 years of administrative support in a professional office or mortgage environment
Possess an understanding of different loan products, such as conventional loans, FHA, VA, adjustable/ fixed, commercial loans, etc.
Although not required, having an NMLS license or training is preferred
Proficiency in MS Office required; CRM, MLS, DU, and proprietary mortgage software preferred
