**Janitor** - Responsible for keeping buildings in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, empties trash receptacles, and replace lining of trash cans. Perform routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.
**This position will:**
Sweep and mop floors.
Clean buildings by mopping, emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning surfaces.
Clean and disinfect equipment.
Sterilize all areas of the facility
Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
Dust office furniture, various areas on the production floor and scrub surfaces clean.
Clean and service restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
Maintain outside the facility to ensure trash is picked up
Identify and report possible repairs.
Clean breakroom throughout the day
Sanitize all handrails, doors & doorknobs, water fountains
Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
Performs other duties as specified in job description addendum or as assigned.
**MINIMUM QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:**
***Education/Experience:***
2+ years janitorial experience desirable
High school diploma/GED required
Willingness to work early morning or late night shifts
Ability to work well under minimal supervision
Capacity to take direction
Strong attention to detail
Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 30 pounds as necessary
***Compensation:***
$15/hour
