The Company s expertise lies in prefabrication consulting, project management, exhibit engineering, detailing, prototyping, installation, media, and lighting systems. Projects are custom, large scale, complex, multi-year experiences.



Position Summary:


The Controller will provide financial leadership and support special projects, serving as a key business partner to the CEO and collaborating with the corporate finance team in Paris, France.


Responsibilities:


Foundational Accounting and Financial Principles:


  • Ensure financial integrity and compliance with local tax regulations.
  • Supervise and advise on general accounting matters.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Lead month- end closing activities and manage budget projections.
  • Prepare and distribute standard monthly management reports.
  • Lead corporate audit processes.


Accurate Reporting and Partnerships:


  • Ensure compliance with Division and Corporate reporting processes.
  • Utilize and map local accounting software with Corporate Finance requirements.
  • Produce and deliver data in accordance with Corporate Finance requirements.
  • Review P&L and formulate monthly financial narratives.


Drive Performance and Provide Business Guidance:


  • Contribute a financial, business, and operational point of view based on an understanding of all company projects.
  • Use of business acumen to analyze opportunities and risk at Company and project level.
  • Application of accounting and finance models for long-term, multi- million-dollar projects.
  • Oversee cash management.
  • Improve profitability by reviewing gross margins and project costs.
  • Implement KPI s to monitor project expenditures.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance.


Expected Skills and Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • Five years of full cycle accounting experience in a business environment, preferably the construction industry.
  • US GAAP standards.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial controlling, and treasury management.
  • Microsoft Office, Excel proficiency.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.




A Plus:


  • Understanding and experience of IFRS standard 606 (Revenue Recognition).
  • Knowledge of OneStream or comparable system for financial reporting.




This is an in-office position located in Lorton, VA.
