About the Role:

The position is for a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee the construction of a utility-scale solar project in Texas. The Construction Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of the project on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.



Responsibilities:

1. Lead the construction team and subcontractors to ensure efficient and effective project execution.

2. Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets to meet project objectives.

3. Coordinate with project stakeholders, including engineers, designers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project requirements are met.

4. Monitor and manage construction progress, quality, and safety performance to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

5. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and address potential issues or deviations from project plans.

6. Manage procurement activities, including material sourcing, vendor selection, and contract negotiation, to support construction activities.

7. Provide leadership and guidance to the construction team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

8. Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project stakeholders, including senior management and clients.


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering utility-scale solar projects.

3. Extensive knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and best practices, particularly in the renewable energy sector.

4. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

5. Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Primavera P6, MS Project, and Procore.

6. Thorough understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to construction activities.

7. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

8. Flexibility to travel and work on-site as required throughout the duration of the project.
