**Description**

Professionally assists and serves members in a wide range of services. This position will travel as an MSR/Teller to any FivePoint Branch. Responsible for performing a wide variety of member services such as opening and closing accounts, renewing term share accounts and assisting members with bookkeeping and checking account problems. Responsible for maintaining and organizing various files, forms and records. Answers member questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance. Cross sells services and performs related clerical duties as required. Assists or refers members with any and all questions or problems that arise.

This position requires excellent telephone, communication, and public relations skills, and a good understanding of Credit Union service and products. Excellent organizational abilities, efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism are vital to the successful execution of this position.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES**

Assumes responsibility for the effective and professional performance of member service functions. Assumes responsibility for efficient, effective, and accurate performance of teller functions. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective, professional business relations with members. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective communication, coordination and working relationships with area personnel and Management. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned. ****PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS****

- Member services functions are efficiently, effectively, and accurately performed in accordance with established policies, standards, and security procedures.

- Good business relations exist with members. Member problems or questions are courteously and promptly resolved. Effective assistance is provided with member bookkeeping and checking account problems.

- Good working relationships and coordination exist with area personnel and Management. Appropriate assistance is provided to area staff as needed. Supervisors are appropriately informed of area activities.

- Required reports are accurate, complete and timely.

- The Credit Unions professional reputation is maintained and conveyed.

- Monies are balanced and any discrepancies are promptly resolved. A balancing record that meets established standards is maintained.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

**E****DUCATION/CERTIFICATION:** High school graduate or equivalent. **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:** Knowledge of the fundamentals of quality customer service. Currency and check handling knowledge. Basic understanding of financial operations is strongly preferred. Good understanding of member services and products provided. Understanding of member bookkeeping procedures. **EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:** Extensive customer service experience. Strong experience handling currency and checks. Related office experience and previous customer service contact is preferred. **SKILLS/ABILITIES:** Excellent communication and public relations skills. Professional appearance and attitude. Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment including 10-key and telephone. Solid math and bookkeeping abilities. **PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION** **TALKING:** Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly. **AVERAGE HEARING:** Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. **FINGER DEXTERITY:** Using primarily just the fingers to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects, or pinching fingers together. **REPETITIVE MOTION:** Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. **AVERAGE VISUAL ABILITIES:** Average, ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. **PHYSICAL STRENGTH:** Sedentary work; sitting most of the time.
