Description:
Urgent need for an Intermediate-Senior level Plumbing Designer to prepare drawings and specifications of plumbing systems including the development of initial plumbing concepts. Proven experience in building systems, particularly commercial, retail, and residential buildings.
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years or more preparing Plumbing Design drawings
- Work with team to develop Plumbing & Fire Protection (a plus) Design
- Develop initial plumbing concepts.
- AutoCAD is a MUST
- Revit would be desired; not required.
- Perform system design calculations, and preliminary water, gas, sewer calculations.
- Select equipment used in building systems.
- Working knowledge of building codes
- Good written and Verbal skills for report preparation and client interaction
Education:
BSME or equivalent preferred but non-degreed is acceptable
