Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Federal Civilian Business Development with current or past Department of Homeland Security (DHS) experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth within the Federal Civilian sector, with a focus on DHS. This individual will lead the development and execution of strategies to identify and capture new business opportunities, as well as expand our presence within existing accounts. Candidates required to come into Fairfax, VA office occasionally.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to achieve revenue targets within the Federal Civilian sector, with a focus on DHS.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within DHS and other relevant agencies.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities through proactive market research and analysis.
- Lead the preparation and submission of proposals, including managing the proposal development process from start to finish.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions to clients.
- Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
$170,000 - $230,000 a year
This position also includes a commission structure.
