Material Handler
Salary: $18/hr.
Location: Manassas, VA(fully on-site)
Industry: Government/Defense
Employment Type: Long-term contract with the potential for permanent hire
Clearance: Ability to obtain
Shift: 4 days, 10 hours Monday - Thursday = 3 day weekend!

Qualifications:

High School Diploma
2+ years of relevant experience
Experience working in a warehouse environment
Must be a proactive communicator and highly motivated
Prior experience with pallet jack and forklift highly desired

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include moving material between work centers and other locations throughout the facility.
Candidate will also assist with inventory storage and warehouse duties as required.
Expedites, routes, and dispatches material and parts in accordance with production schedules and commitments.
Takes appropriate action to expedite materials in a timely and efficient manner and reports on completion dates, material deliveries etc.
Ability to use a pallet jack, forklift and able to lift & move heavy items (50lbs.)
Opens containers using hand tools. Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
Conveys materials using a pallet jack, hand truck, forklift, electric dolly, elevator, or other devices
