Food Service Supervisor Per Diem Rotate - 220####### **Description**
: **Summary**
Responsible for opening and or closing the kitchen on a daily basis. Responsible for running the patient trayline, checking tray accuracy and menu distribution. Ensures employee and patient safety practices are followed. Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of entire kitchen, storeroom, refrigeration and freezers. Responsible for providing excellent customer service to all patients and customers. Participates in peer interviewing of applicants, staff training and scheduling as required. Responsible for addressing employee behavior and/or work performance with the FANS Manager. Assists new employees with mandatory computer education requirements. Responsible for accurate cash handling and cash reports for cafeteria. Completes additional assigned projects at the Director or Managers discretion. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
: **Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications**
High School graduate. Certified Dietary Manager preferred. Serve Safe Sanitation Certified preferred or obtained within 6 months of employment.
**Experience**
Three to five years of healthcare experience in foodservice.
**Physical Requirements**
1. Frequently required to lift 5-40 pounds.
2. Occasionally may lift greater than 40 pounds with assistance of staff member and/or approved lifting devise.
3. Frequently required to operate standard office machines, computers and telephones.
4. Frequently required to walk, bend, push and pull.
5. Required to have effective vision and hearing.
