Description

Classification: Non-exempt, Part Time (24-28 hours per week)

Reports to: Director of Stewardship and Development

Position Objective:

This position provides a full range of clerical/administrative functions in support of the pastor and parish staff.

Essential Duties:

Greet visitors, answer phones and provide hospitality set-up for meetings.

Prepare weekly bulletins and bulletin inserts.

Maintain and coordinate parish calendar with staff.

Maintain weekday Mass schedule and Mass intentions.

Provide support for baptism preparation and maintain all sacramental records.

Provide data entry and word processing support for all staff.

Assist in maintenance of church management and contribution software programs.

Assist with content across digital channels: website, digital sign, social media platforms, online giving and event forms, email marketing, etc.

Handle outgoing and incoming mail.

Maintain inventory and purchase office/hospitality supplies and office equipment supplies.

Support development and stewardship projects and workflows.

Act as staff liaison to parish organizations as assigned.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Exercise strong verbal and written communication skills.

Maintain confidentiality.

Manage multiple tasks.

Show attention to detail.

Basic Qualifications:

Proficiency in keyboarding, data entry, Microsoft software.

Basic knowledge of bookkeeping.

Ability to easily grasp new software applications.
