Our client, a managed service provider, is looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join their team on a 6 month contract opportunity. A valid IL drivers license is required as there will be car travel to client sites 5 times per day. Client will provide a company car and gas card for gas expenses. This role is based out of our Lockport, IL office. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded technician, possessing a blend of technical skills and a can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as an Onsite Technician/Project Team member per customer requirements.
- Configure, Deploy, and Troubleshoot Windows Operating Systems and Servers.
- Install and manage Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, NPS, Hyper-V and other Server Roles and Features.
- Administer File Shares, NTFS file permissions, security groups, and users.
- Manage the Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure Environment.
- Install and Troubleshoot Microsoft Office products.
- Maintain and Troubleshoot company networks & associated hardware.
- Support on-premises equipment (servers, firewalls, routers, switches, etc.)
- Run low-voltage cabling and ensure proper cable/wire management.
Key Requirements:
- Must possess an Illinois Driver s License.
- Proficiency in configuring, deploying and troubleshooting Windows Operating Systems.
- Experience with Microsoft server roles and features.
- Solid understanding of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office product installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with MSP-specific RMM and PSA tools.
