Metric Bio are partnered with an extremely well funded, rapidly growing small molecule CDMO as they look to hire a Principal Scientist to lead Process Chemistry operations in their Pennsylvania facility.
The company are going through a very exciting period of global growth and they are extremely well established. In this high impact position you will be part of the on-site leadership team, developing new processes to manufacture API for early development through Phase 2 clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure process are suitable for controlling the quality of API as required by cGMP, ICH and FDA regulations.
- Responsible for contributing to the planning of synthetic routes, the execution and chemical synthesis projects.
- Identify opportunities for improvement or optimization in current processes and implement practical solutions
Qualifications:
- PhD in Organic Chemistry
- 7+ years experience in process R&D chemistry in an industry laboratory
- Experience in a GMP environment
