Casagrande Studio is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Design Assistant/Junior Designer to join our growing team. You will work closely with the Principal designer to develop creative solutions and manage a variety of exciting projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced design environment and build a successful career in the industry.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop design concepts
- Oversee the project lifecycle, from proposals and purchase orders to vendor communication and final installation
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Source and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment, and materials (FFE)
- Draft furniture plans, elevations, and custom furniture drawings
- Coordinate with vendors, shipping companies, and storage facilities
- Assist with client presentations and prepare samples
- Maintain the studio's sample library
- Participate in job site visits and meetings with clients, contractors, and subcontractors
Qualifications
- REQUIREMENT: 1-5 years of experience in architecture or interior design (minimum)
- REQUIREMENT: Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Canva, Google Suite and Adobe Creative Suite is REQUIRED, Revit is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Accredited design degree in interior design or architecture or a related college degree
