Executive Assistant to Director of Clinical Documentation Improvement

Job Summary:

Under the consultative direction of the Director of CDI, the Executive Assistant consistently exercises considerable initiative and independent judgment to coordinate the multifaceted, high-paced administrative duties related to the department and office operations for the Director of CDI. Handles multiple administrative matters of a highly confidential nature and independently prioritizes tasks as urgencies dictate.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree and 1 year of related experience OR Associates degree with three years of related experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Demonstrated ability to achieve high-performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment. Ability to adapt to an ever changing and dynamic environment and can easily shift focus when priority matters arise. Competency to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a professional manner. Ability to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion and high-level attention to detail. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), Visio.

Preferred Qualifications:

Degree in Business or Healthcare Administration preferred. Proven experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar administrative role. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Strong interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor.

Work Days:

Monday - Friday days
