Spacecraft Systems Engineer | Ithaca, NY

An established European space business are building out a new, US team, based out of New York State.
Their next key hire is for a a Systems Engineer who will play a critical role in driving the success of their cubesat projects from concept to launch and ongoing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and develop cubesat systems, ensuring integration and compatibility across all subsystems.
- Apply your expertise in cubesat engineering to guide the design, analysis, and testing of systems.
- Participate in the development of technical documentation, including requirements specifications, design documentation, and test plans.
- Collaborate closely with our team to ensure the successful execution of cubesat projects and drive innovation in space technology.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in systems engineering, particularly in the field of cubesats or small satellite systems.
- Strong knowledge of cubesat subsystems, with a preference for experience in GNC or ADCS.
- Familiarity with industry-standard tools and software used in cubesat design, simulation, and analysis.
