We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our Procurement Team as an Procurement Manager Indirect . This role is responsible for developing and executing the Indirect procurement category strategies across Australia and New Zealand with a focus on Transport & Warehousing. You will be able to identify, evaluate, negotiate, appoint, and manage suppliers in a way that creates competitive advantage and leverages PepsiCo scale and global footprint. The person we are looking for will have highly effective interpersonal skills, be an excellent negotiator, influencer, and communicator, with demonstrated ability to develop credible business relationships with all types of people across the business.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver sustainable supply solutions building partnerships with key strategic suppliers
  • Own the end-to-end strategic sourcing process including supplier selection, commercial negotiation, contract drafting
  • Manage cost reduction activities and best practice tools and methods within a complex and varied supplier environment
  • Effective dispute resolution and stakeholder management skills across multiple internal and external platforms
  • Active participation with cross functional teams in Operations, Finance, Marketing, IT, R&D and Supply Chain


Qualifications:
  • Preferred CIPSA or CPIM supply chain qualification highly desirable
  • Excellent knowledge of FMCG with 7 yrs min in procurement roles depth in category management
  • Sound knowledge of supply market fundamentals, strategic sourcing processes, Indirect category related procurement preferred
  • Excellent balance of analytical & negotiation skills
  • Contract writing / risk analysis / liabilities and indemnities / SLAs / and general commercial terms
  • Sound understanding of SAP and P2P Governance and Controls
