Description

Why We Need You!

Business Development Representatives, or BDR's as we like to call them, are responsible for identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for our Inside Sales team. A BDR is the first point of contact for a potential customer. They are tasked with reaching out to potential customers through email and phone calls to set up initial demonstrations with Account Executives. BDRs's are absolutely crucial to our success, and often the feedback that we receive from our BDR team provides insight that may help shape our company's sales strategy. There is not a high degree of technical knowledge required for this position. This position lays the foundation for a successful high tech sales career. There is a path for career growth within Signiant for the right candidate that is willing to learn and work toward that goal.

What do you get out of it?

Working as a BDR can give you the most well-rounded, real-world business education you can find

Opportunity to learn our products and messaging

Training on tools such as CRM, scripts, WebEX, etc.

Building relationships with Inside, Field & Sales Engineers

Opportunity to expand your knowledge of insides sales duties & responsibilities

If you want to learn the ins and outs of business, are coachable and willing to listen, and are willing to try new things, your sales managers will help set you up for success.

How Your Success Will Be Measured

Your success will ultimately be measured by consistently meeting or exceeding goals for setting up demonstrations for Account Executives. The BDR position will give you back what you put into it. This is a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with seasoned sales representatives and with an extremely approachable and knowledgeable senior management team.
