Description
The Invensys Branch of the Hockomock Area YMCA in Foxboro, MA is hiring for the Health & Wellness department. Available positions include, Wellness Center Coaches and Group Exercise Instructors. The Wellness Center Coach assists with motivating and educating fitness members in the Wellness Center. The Group Exercise Instructor leads high quality, safe, and motivating exercise classes with a focus on participation, growth, and relationship building. A variety of days and hours are available for all positions.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated understanding of the core values of the Hockomock YMCA (honesty, caring, respect, and responsibility)
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
- Certifications should include:
- CPR & First Aid
- Group Exercise Instructors only - Group Ex Certification
- Personal Trainers only - Current national certification (ACSM; ACE; NSCA; ISSA and/or AFAA) or a 4 year degree in a health related field (proof of completion of certification or relative degree must be submitted within 90 days of hire)
