OBJECTIVE The Grounds and Farm Box Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the pool and hot tubs, mowing, weed eating, maintaining pristine lawns and operating our farm box. Watering, fertilizing, and weeding flower baskets, boxes, and beds at the Ranch. This position involves a variety of other functions as well, such as irrigation, small repairs, and ground maintenance. Since responsibilities cross many departments, there is limited contact with the immediate supervisor; it is, therefore, imperative that this person be self-motivated and take initiative. Guest service is an important facet of this position. Providing a high-quality guest service will require that you learn the guests' names and become familiar with their individual needs and desires. ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Check and maintain the pool and hot tub water level, temperature, and chemical balance.
Maintain pool and hot tub cleanliness. Record chemicals daily on data sheets for the safety of our guests.
Grow lettuce and other vegetables in our farm box for ranch kitchen.
Restock towels and pick up trash as needed.
Maintain grounds around the pool and patio house area.
Mow and weed eat all the lawns on the ranch.
Run irrigation systems to maintain green lawns all summer.
Do sprinkler head and all other irrigation repairs as needed.
Trim shrubs, bushes, and trees. Help transport flowers from the local greenhouse to the Ranch.
Daily watering of all flower baskets, boxes, and beds.
Fertilizing and weeding of all flower's multiple times a week.
Keeping the gardening shed organized and replaced tools and supplies as needed.
NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs all related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift, push, pull up to 45 lbs.
Able to walk long distance throughout the Ranch.
Must be able to handle machinery such as tow truck, fork-lift, side by sides, leaf blowers, lawn mowers.
